The “BEACH CAT” brand was inspired by my beloved cat, Orion.
In 2015, Orion was only two years old when he was diagnosed with a serious illness. To care for him full-time, I decided to become a full-time remote designer and founded this studio.
This journey lets me balance my deepest commitment with my creative career — every day.

Bold visuals, branding, landing pages, UI/UX, illustration — whatever grabs eyeballs and moves the needle.

Hi, I’m Mayumi — the human behind BEACH CAT Design Studio.
This whole thing started because of my cat, Orion.
In 2015, he was only 2 when he got seriously ill. I dropped everything, went 100% remote, and founded this studio so I could stay by his side 24/7 while still doing what I love.
That decision turned into my superpower:
